RETURNS AND GUARANTEE

The following guarantee conditions apply to Sophy Geneva online shop, By purchasing a piece of jewelry from Sophy Geneva, the customer has accepted the conditions of this guarantee without having to sign a guarantee agreement.
Please note the return conditions applicable to your order, as well as our information on defects and guarantee services.

RETURNS ON FOR DELIVERED ITEMS
If the return reason is applicable you may return the item after confirmation from our customer service by email, To return items that have been delivered to your address, register the return by email to customer.service@sophy.ch within 24 hours of the items received, If you have any questions, please contact Sophy customer service.

You can send your return by post (registered Post only at your expense)
– Enclose the return packing slip created and printed out online with the package. Stick the address label generated online on the package and send it to the following address:

RETURN CONDITIONS
Please note the following return conditions, which apply to all orders:
1- A return must be made within 10 days of receipt of the goods.
2-The products must be returned in their original packaging, unworn and intact. Labels and protective films must not be removed. All documents such as certificates, warranty cards, operating instructions, etc. must be enclosed with the return.
3-Engraved, changed, worn, or damaged goods, as well as custom-made products and gift cards, cannot be returned.
4-Sale and coupons vouchers used items that have been delivered to your home can’t be returned.
5- Brands items that are sold by Sophy Geneva are not applicable for return.
6-Items sold outside of Switzerland are not applicable for return.

INSPECTION AND REPAIR
When jewelry with a warranty is sent to the Sophy offices, it will only be checked by an Atelier in Lausanne jewelry expert who will decide whether repairs are necessary. If repairs are required that are not covered by the warranty, the company will contact the customer for permission before working on the piece.
The warranty does not cover partial or total loss or theft of the jewelry.
The warranty does not cover size adjustments.
If a defect is found, the jewelry must be returned to Sophy Geneva for inspection. after a confirmation from our customer services they alone will determine whether the defect is due to normal wear and tear or exceptional circumstances.
Any jewelry that has been altered in any way by a third party or without the authorization of Sophy Geneva will lose the guarantee completely.
The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping and insurance from the customer to the Sophy Geneva offices.
Sophy Geneva will not be liable for any costs, damages, or losses incurred while the jewelry is not in the company’s possession. we alone determine the best way to return the jewelry to the client.
If it is established that the jewelry has been damaged outside the guarantee period due to unusual or extreme wear or use, the customer will be obliged to pay for all repairs.

WARRANTY / SERVICES AND CERTIFICATES
The warranty period for watches and jewelry (excluding batteries and straps) is generally two years (depending on the brand) from the delivery of the goods.

The guarantee replaces the statutory warranty rights in the sense that the Sophy Geneva decides whether the defective goods will be repaired or replaced or whether the purchase price will be refunded. You cannot claim compensation for damages or expenses due to defective goods. Due to the nature of the jewelry, Sophy Geneva is not liable for damage to chains that break on pendants, necklaces, and bracelets. Sophy is not liable for damage to earrings, Rings other body jewelry.

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper handling, lack of care (see our care tips), accidents, or normal wear and tear (e.g. wristbands). The guarantee expires in the event of interventions by third parties who have not been authorized by Sophy Geneva to do so.
